My Background
Hi there! My name is Irina and I am the lead designer and founder of The Modern Oak. I have always had a passion for design and spent the first 12 years of my married life renovating and designing every home and rental we lived in. After running out of projects, we took a leap of faith and purchased our first "fixer upper" that we renovated from the studs up. That first flip experience really fueled my love and passion for design and landed me my first professional design client. Since flipping our first house, I have designed and furnished over 32 homes before finally deciding to start my own interior design business. I am so blessed to call this my "Job" and I truly love every part of it- from picking out floorpans and interior selections for new build construction homes, furnishing, staging, and setting up Short Term Rentals!
